What they say about the lessons

With a large amount of good humour and lots of patience Valentin has guided me successfully through 3 exams thus far. He clearly enjoys teaching and sharing his love of music with his students. If anyone is thinking about taking up or renewing their acquaintance with the classical guitar then I have no hesitation in recommending Valentin as a tutor.
Hugh Mc Cartney
Valentin is a patient and welcoming teacher, who provides a laid-back and comfortable learning environment. As a student you always feel relaxed in his lessons. His attention to detail and knowledge of classical guitar is impressive, but he is always able to break things down into manageable chunks and is able to explain things in creative ways.We have been preparing a set of music for me to perform at a professional level, and Valentin's guidance has been crucial with helping me put it all together. Highly recommend!
Chris Cunningham
Valentin is a patient and experienced teacher and I’m very happy I was his student. He tailored every lesson around my personal goals and interests and gave me a lot of inspiration. On top of that, he introduced me to a lot of music I hadn’t heard before, which is something I will always be grateful for. I’m sure that anyone interested in classical guitar will find Valentin to be extremely helpful.
Liam Rooke
I’ve been working with Valentin for a year now and he has taught me so much, not only guitar but also about music and musicality, bringing intention to performance and being aware of the importance of the physical aspect of guitar playing. He is knowledgeable, talented and an all round nice guy- highly recommended!!
Eric Lindsay
I was fortunate to find Valentin as my guitar tutor about six months ago. He is an accomplished musician and is very well qualified as a teacher. As a tutor he is patient and supportive. He recognises where help is required and is able to provide for this. I can highly recommend Valentin as a guitar tutor.
Michael Burke
Really enjoyed my guitar classes with Valentin! He is patient, organised, very good at adapting classes to your needs and musical interests, and also very mindful about healthy and ergonomic technique. Absolutely recommend!
